Carlo Odorico joined GPA in 1996 and has continually played an integral role in the firm’s many successes for more than 25 years. Since 2020, Carlo has served as the Technical Director of the studio, where he provides expertise to all staff on technical standards, building code, envelope design, and contract administration. He provides crucial oversight and support for technical compliance and supports the project teams in quality assurance and approvals for final drawing packages, while mentoring teams to increase their technical capacity and knowledge.

Previously, Carlo was Project Architect and Senior Associate-in-Charge for several award-winning projects at a variety of scales, including the Port Credit Village Lakefront Development, Regent Park Block 22, West Village, the Collingwood Shipyards Side Launch and North Shore Tower. His distinct passion for construction offers an innovative approach to project execution at GPA, especially when challenged with tight budgets and schedules. Currently, Carlo is responsible for a residential social housing development for Habitat for Humanity and has completed several seniors’ residences for Diversicare/Verve.

Carlo received a Bachelor of Arts in 1992 and a Bachelor of Environmental Science in 1980, both from the University of Waterloo.
