Shengyu Cai

Growing up in Changzhou, China, Shengyu developed an early interest in the ways architecture shapes daily life and community. He obtained his Bachelor of Architectural Science from Toronto Metropolitan University and is currently pursuing a Master of Architecture at Yale University. His interest in domestic spaces and collective housing has been further informed by his studies of the vibrant and dynamic urban landscape of Mexico City. At GPA, Shengyu enjoys contributing to the firm's diverse portfolio of projects and exploring architecture across a range of scales and typologies. Outside of work, he enjoys watching films, swimming, and leading guided meditation sessions.
