Writer Giu­lia Mar­cuc­ci for DHD Mag­a­zine, describes Fab­bri­ca as “a new restau­rant in Toron­to, in the Don Mills dis­trict, cre­at­ed for the famous Cana­di­an chef Mark McK­e­wan by the design and archi­tec­ture stu­dio Gian­none Pet­ri­cone Asso­ciates. Its name is Ital­ian for fac­to­ry and this new build­ing express­es the idea of a mod­ern pro­duc­tion facil­i­ty for the pro­cess­ing and trans­for­ma­tion of food, in addi­tion to being inspired by an enchant­i­ng old-style adver­tis­ing bill­board, strict­ly Made in Italy which depicts a fac­to­ry in Turin.”
