GPA Principal Pina Petricone’s Design Research Internship Program Awarded a LEAF Impact Grant

GPA Prin­ci­pal Pina Pet­ri­cone’s Design Research Intern­ship Pro­gram, a part of the John H. Daniels Fac­ul­ty of Archi­tec­ture, Land­scape, and Design, was rec­og­nized for its inno­va­tion in design teach­ing with a LEAF Impact Grant.

“Asso­ciate Pro­fes­sor Pina Petricone’s Design Research Intern­ship Pro­gram (DRIP) has received a LEAF Impact Grant from the Uni­ver­si­ty of Toronto’s Office of the Vice-Provost for Inno­va­tion in Under­grad­u­ate Teach­ing. Rec­og­niz­ing the par­tic­u­lar skillset for research, ideation and rep­re­sen­ta­tion of the Faculty’s BAAS stu­dents was the first step in estab­lish­ing DRIP as a new expe­ri­en­tial learn­ing course that part­ners with design pro­fes­sion­als to offer a unique aca­d­e­m­ic intern­ship unbur­dened by prac­ti­cal require­ments”.
